'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Unaccounted For Teenagers Desperately Seek Answers After Ski Resort Blaze
The loved ones of teens lost after a devastating blaze at a bar in a Swiss alpine town are confronting an painful wait for confirmed information and appealing for any details about their loved ones via social media.
The inferno devastated the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Confirmed video depict the ceiling igniting as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.
Authorities have stated that it could take considerable time to identify the fatalities of the tragedy, which claimed the lives of 40 people and wounded another scores more. A spokesperson said on Friday that the majority of the those hurt have been identified, with work still underway to locate the remaining few.
