Aircraft Spins Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
An aircraft soaring over a crowded California beach abruptly started spinning out of control, finally dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media show the helicopter starting to spin above the beach then plunging towards the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the street were hurt. Information on their wounds were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
